         Director's meeting

        September 14 & 15, 2017

        Madison Marriott West Hotel, Middleton


        Domestic violence, sexual assault and tribal executive directors to learn, share, challenge and enhance sexual assault and domestic violence services in our state.

        WCASA co-sponsors the meeting with End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin and American Indians Against Abuse

        On day one, we’ll look at sustainability, with a focus on Fund Development, Leadership Development for Succession, and Self-care. On day two, Leveraging the Strength of Culturally Specific Services will focus on strategies for mutual support and collaboration between mainstream providers and culturally specific services. In the afternoon, Intersections of Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation in Gender Violence Work will consider recognizing and developing strategies to reach and serve youth and adults who have been trafficked. The program begins each day at 8:45am.

        Reserve a room at the Madison Marriott West by August 17 by calling (800) 228-9290. Ask for the Statewide Directors Meeting room block.


        If you apply for a scholarship as a tribal director for lodging on the night of May 8, your room will be covered by AIAA. If you apply for a scholarship for lodging on the night of May 9th, you will need to book your own room. You will be reimbursed by End Domestic Abuse WI, along with mileage. Priority will be given to directors who have previously attended Future of Services.
