SAVAS
Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy School
This school addresses the basics of being a victim advocate — whether answering the crisis line, providing medical or legal advocacy, working with a coordinated community response team, or providing outreach in your community. Participants will have opportunities to practice skills necessary to provide comprehensive advocacy for victims. New sexual assault victim advocates, domestic violence victim advocates, and other professionals who want to learn more about sexual violence are encouraged to attend.
In 2013, we will be offering two SAVAS trainings. Registration for the spring SAVAS will be distributed in March 2013.
WCASA offers 2 SAVAS trainings. For more information, view the SAVAS Upcoming Trainings page.
