January is Slavery and Human Trafficking Awareness & Prevention Month

, community action group promoting awareness of Human Trafficking, are co-sponsoring a free Film Festival
on January 29th, 2011 at the Pres House on the UW-Madison Campus.
UPDATE: last weekend, WCASA co-sponsored the first annual SlaveFree Madison Human Trafficking Film Festival to commemorate National Slavery and Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month. Five feature films and documentaries covering domestic and international trafficking were shown during the length of the day; with the average of 40 people attending each screening.
