        Women’s Resource Center Director The Women’s Resource Center Director, under the supervision and direction of the Dean of Students, is responsible for the development of a multi-service office, and supervising the daily operations of the Women’s Resource Center. The Director will be responsible for increasing awareness, education and presence of women issues on the UWM campus including sexual assault prevention and education. The Director will also assist students with the planning and implementation of center activities, campus programs, campaigns and events that embrace the diversity of women students and the overall UWM student community.

        Project Coordinator for Victim Services and Interpersonal Violence Prevention The Project Coordinator for Victim Services is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Violence Against Woman grant, develop and co-chair a Coordinated Campus Response Team, assist in the development and implementation of a healthy masculinity program.         Graduate Assistant for Victim Services - 2 Positions Available

        The Graduate Assistant for the Office of Victim Services is responsible for development of a healthy masculinity peer mentor program, develop resources for Resident Assistants and provide advocacy for survivors.  

        The Graduate Assistant for the Office of Victim Services is responsible for supporting the implementation and expansion of bystander intervention education under the No Excuses campus model and the recruitment, training, and supervision of Peer Advocates.

        Rape Crisis Center, Madison

        The Rape Crisis Center works within Dane County to promote hope, help and healing for those harmed by sexual violence and strives through education and outreach to create social change to end sexual violence. 

        African-American Community Outreach Specialist The Rape Crisis Center, Inc. (RCC) is seeking a full-time African American-Community Outreach Specialist (AACOS). This position requires someone with a demonstrated personal commitment and professional experience with African American communities in Dane County, WI. 

        Marketing and Development Intern The Marketing & Development Office of the Rape Crisis Center initiates annual individual, foundation, and corporate fundraising campaigns and events to help fund our helpline, programming, and educational outreach.

        Outreach and Education Specialist The OES is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of outreach programming to youth and adults throughout Dane County. The OES is responsible for developing effective outreach materials and outreach education curriculum; recruiting and training Outreach Educator Volunteers; and building relationships with new and existing community partners.

        Prevention and Evaluation Specialist The Prevention and Evaluation Specialist (PES) is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating primary prevention programming throughout Dane County through a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention grant ending on July 31, 2018.

        Crisis Advocates, PT & Back Up Under the direct supervision of the Lead Crisis Advocate, the Crisis Advocate is responsible for the daily function of a safe and secure home like environment within the shelter. The Crisis Advocate is responsible for managing crisis situations related to the 24 hour crisis line and communal living shelter life.

        Bilingual Anti-Human Trafficking Advocates (FT) Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director, the Anti-Human Trafficking Advocate provides comprehensive trauma informed care and services to domestic minor and adult victims of all types of trafficking. The Anti-Human Trafficking Advocate acts as a program liaison between collaborative community partners.

        African American Culturally Responsive Advocate (FT) The African American Culturally Responsive Advocate is expected to be comfortable with public speaking and providing advocacy, along with developing connections in the La Crosse County community to improve services for African American survivors of domestic and sexual abuse and increase knowledge of services in the community.

        Southeast Asian SpecialistThis position provides advocacy and case management for clients and empowers client to learn self-advocacy over time. You will be responsible for responding to specific needs of victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault victims and providing community education and outreach to the Hmong community in Sheboygan County.
