        Student Services Coordinator / Violence Prevention Coordinator

        The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Norris Health Center, Health Promotion and Wellness (HPW) department, seeks an experienced Violence Prevention Coordinator to be a part of our Survivor Support and Victim Advocacy team. This individual’s primary job responsibilities including leading prevention efforts related to sexual violence, relationship violence, and personal safety, coordinating campus-wide bystander intervention training, managing annual sexual violence training and education, and supporting advocacy and referral services.

        Director of Counseling Services. The Director of Counseling Services is responsible for managing all supportive counseling services, supervising all agency counselors and providing counseling to survivors of sexual assault 12 years of age and older. At least 50% of this position will be focused on directly providing counseling to survivors. This position is responsible for setting goals for the department and working in close collaboration with the Director of Advocacy to meet the needs of agency clients.         DV/SA Advocate within the Center for Violence Prevention and Intervention. The DV/SA advocate works independently to provide services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, family members of victims and/or secondary victims. The advocate assesses victim traumatization, provides crisis management, supportive counseling including crisis intervention and facilitates victim services.         UNIDOS, Fitchburg

        Bilingual Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator The Bilingual Outreach Coordinator is responsible for educating the community and spreading awareness related to domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, as well as UNIDOS services in Dane County and surrounding areas.

        Sexual Assault Advocate The Bilingual Sexual Assault Advocate, under the supervision of the Executive Director, will carry out program work in all four of UNIDOS’ core values:

        • Social justice: respecting human dignity and promoting social equity.
        • Education: providing safe venues to dismantle myths about domestic and sexual violence.
        • Empowerment: supporting victims/survivors to seek community driven solutions to end violence.
        • Collaboration: building a strong coalition of victims, survivors and allies.
