SUMMARY:Understanding Grooming - A Discussion with WCASA and DRW
DESCRIPTION:Public awareness on the issue of grooming is growing. While this is an important step in addressing and preventing sexual violence in our communities\, it is essential that advocates\, educators\, and community members are equipped with accurate information on what grooming is\, what it is not\, and how we can address it properly. \n\nJoin WCASA and Disability Rights WI (DRW) for a training that will provide a comprehensive overview of what grooming is\, in addition to exploring: \n\nhow grooming is misattributed and weaponized against the LGBTQ+ community\nwhat the new WI Act 88 says about grooming\nconsiderations for people with disabilities\nhow to prevent grooming
