SUMMARY:Webinar: Healthy Relationships and Consent in the Age of AI
DESCRIPTION:This webinar will be presented by Priya Nakra\, founder of Override Labs\, and Adam Dodge\, founder of End Tech-Enabled Abuse (EndTAB). \nArtificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping how people date\, communicate\, and navigate\nrelationships: from dating apps and texting to outsourcing emotional decision-making and\nconflict navigation to chatbots. This session examines how relying on AI for advice and\nemotional processing can affect communication skills\, relational development\, and\nexpectations of partners. \nWe’ll also highlight promising innovations meeting this moment\, including a new consent app\nfor teen boys called is this ok? It is a tool designed to build real-time consent literacy into the\nenvironments teens already navigate. Participants will leave with practical strategies for\neducation and prevention work helping individuals build emotional intelligence\, maintain\nagency\, and foster healthy\, reciprocal relationships in an AI-integrated world. \nNote: A recording of this webinar will be sent to all registrants\, but will not be made publicly available. DESCRIPTION:Hosted Online VIA Zoom \nMore information including registration will be posted in advance of the training. \nThe Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy School (SAVAS) addresses the basics of being a victim advocate — answering the crisis line\, providing individual and systems advocacy and providing outreach in your community. Participants will have opportunities to practice skills necessary to provide comprehensive advocacy for victims. New sexual assault victim advocates\, domestic violence victim advocates who are staff of Sexual Assault Service Providers (SASPs) are encouraged to attend. \nThe October 2026 SAVAS will be held online via zoom October 20-22 & 27-29. SAVAS will run from 9am-11am & 1pm-3pm each day. \nThis opportunity is being offered to staff of WCASA member Sexual Assault Service Providers (SASPs) for no fee. The registration fee for staff of other organizations serving sexual assault survivors is $300 for the entire training.
