ASTOP will be partnering with BlueDoor Coffee for the month of April. Saturday April 2, from 11-2 we will have staff at BlueDoor answering any questions and teaching the community about ASTOP and its resources.

-Sexual Assault Survivor Art Installation- April 4th -8th Because what you’re wearing isn’t an invitation to harassment or assault. What Were You Wearing is a SAAM exhibit recreating the stories of those that have survived being sexually assaulted. These stories are displayed along side an interpretation of the clothes the victims were wearing.

Participants will receive education about how trauma affects the body, and will learn tools that will support them in releasing that trauma to promote healing.

Join us to learn about the role of a victim/survivor advocate from different agencies around the region. This event is intended to raise awareness about victim/survivor advocate services and to foster discussion about how to best support victims/survivors of sexual violence/assault/abuse.
