The VOCA Fix to Sustain the Crime Victims Fund Act of 2021 Introduced in Congress

The VOCA Fix legislation was introduced in Congress yesterday. This critical legislation will prevent devastating cuts to federal funding for victim service programs through the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA). Please see below for more information from NAESV.

Please join WCASA by taking the following actions today:

  1. Contact Senator Baldwin and thank her for hear leadership on this important legislation.
  2. Contact Senator Johnson and your representative and urge them to co-sponsor the VOCA fix legislation.

I have attached talking points and sample scripts from the VOCA toolkit released by NAESV you can use in your messages to your members of Congress. I have also attached a VOCA Fact Sheet for Wisconsin you can share with your member of Congress highlighting the urgent need to pass the VOCA fix legislation.

You can access the VOCA toolkit here which contains additional resources, including sample messaging/graphics for social media and sample letters to the editor etc.

Thank you,
