In this workshop we will explore our own and collective understanding of white privilege, white supremacy, and anti-racism through small group work, discussion prompts, and exercises such as the White Ladder. We will share with one another our understanding of how racism shows up in all or majority white spaces and strategies for influencing systems we inhabit. Lastly, we will discuss how the current political climate has impacted and influenced antiracism work. Our goal for this workshop is to help us as white people examine how racism impacts our lives and our institutions, and discuss where we are in our own process of working for racial justice through antiracism actions in our everyday lives.
